Saxton Projects is a charity based out of our small community. When the Covid-19 virus affected Holbrook, Arizona, we wanted to do our part to help alleviate some of the burden for our community. What better way to help than with the local youth teams. When we first started this journey, we were not expecting it to take off as well as it did, and we are beyond thankful for the community support as we carry this into an annual event. Our goal is to help keep cost low and the youth of Holbrook staying active and involved in sports.
When the local Little League Baseball couldn't raise any money to afford fixing fields or new equipment for the kids, we came up with the Cuffs vs. Hoses softball game. Which ended up raising $1,000 for Little League, on top of $1,500 donated to the cause from Unisource. That's when Saxton Projects really started.

Watching everything shut down because of Covid-19, and no one being able to go out and play, we knew our community was hurting and that we needed to do something about it. Creating Saxton Projects was to have a familiar name that people will recognize, a trusted name, all so we could do good by the community. We've lived here for over 20 years and it's time to give back. This community has been good to us, it's time to be good to it. I would like to say, we do not take any money for ourselves. 100% of this money goes back to the community, whatever is donated goes to the youth, this is just something that we wanted to do.

We wanted to help the kids. Being in a small town, the economy already isn't the greatest; then with Covid hitting, the community was struggling. We wanted to make sure the kids wouldn't go without. When we started going, with the Cuffs vs Hoses event, we realized we did really good for little league; we wanted to continue to make that positive impact on the community. It felt right. Our goal is to make a positive change on as many children in youth sports as we can; hopefully, we can get these kids a good head start to go to college and just make the community better.
